Around 80 firefighters tackled a flat fire at a residential block in Canning Town this morning (Friday, February 17).
London Fire Brigade's control officers took more than a dozen calls from 9.11am to the blaze in the block in Barking Road.
Twelve fire engines attended the scene, where parts of two flats on the seventh floor were alight.
One resident took to Twitter to post from inside the building, saying she was "stuck" on the eighth floor of the building.
