A 14-year-old boy was stabbed near a bus station in Beckton, police have confirmed.
Police were called yesterday (January 29) at 5.50pm to reports of a stabbing near Beckton bus station.
It comes as concerned social media users claimed the bus station had been taped off, with one saying: "Something has happened over Asda where bus depot is all taped of (sic)."
Another wrote: "Never seen so many police and ambulances at Asda beckton tonight."

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "A 14-year-old boy was found with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening."
He was treated by the London Ambulance Service for a chest wound before being taken to hospital as a "priority".
An investigation has been launched into the stabbing, with police yet to make any arrests.
