A man is fighting for his life with a second man in hospital after a shooting in Canning Town.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 2.05am this morning (October 26) with reports of gunshots being heard in Rogers Road.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene where they found two men with gunshot wounds.
One of the men is fighting for his life in hospital whilst the second man's injuries have been confirmed as not life-threatening.
A crime scene remains in place as an investigation has been launched.
The police are yet to make any arrests but are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Additional policing patrols will be seen in and around the local area.
