Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were shot in Canning Town.
It follows a call to the emergency services reporting sounds of gunshot at around 2.05am on October 26 in Thorne Close, near Rogers Road.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene where two men, aged 25 and 27, were found with gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital and continue to be treated.
Neither man's condition is life threatening.
Det Insp Iain Wallace said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Saturday – who heard or saw anything suspicious – to come forward.
“Two men were shot and it is vital that we identify who is responsible.
“Also, I would ask that you check any dash cam footage to see if you captured the shooting.”
There have been no arrests at this stage as enquiries into the circumstances continue.
