A West Ham fan has died in Belgium after being hit by a train following a European match.
The Sun has reported that the 57-year-old football supporter was killed at Gent's Sint-Pieters station after watching the Hammers draw 1-1 at KAA Stadium in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday night.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported the man to a hospital in the city, but doctors could not save him.
It is unclear how the incident happened. The prosecutor's office in East Flanders described it as an "unfortunate accident."
Train services in the area were disrupted for several hours before returning to normal around 3am on Friday.
Despite the tragedy, West Ham drew the game after Danny Ings gave them the lead in first-half added time.
