The motorcyclist injured in a crash on the A13 in east London this morning was taken to a major trauma centre.
The man is in a life-threatening condition, according to the Metropolitan Police.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) has confirmed they were on site within four-and-a-half minutes after they were called at 2.46am this morning (January 9).
A spokesperson for the LAS said: “We sent some resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews and an incident response officer.

"We also dispatched a trauma team by car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The A13 came to a standstill this morning after the man came off his motorcycle whilst on the Beckton Flyover.
The Met do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Police are working to identify the man and contact his next of kin.
