Images taken from surveillance camera footage show the moment a police car was involved in a crash with another car in Manor Park.
A police crime scene has been erected on the corner of Romford Road just outside the Manor Park Library following the collision today (February 27).

The footage shows the moment a police car made contact with a second car.
The blue car can be seen tipping slightly on its side after the impact, damaging a nearby electrics box.

A large dent can be seen in the side of the car.
The Recorder has also obtained an image of a police car with significant damage to the front bumper at the scene of the incident.

We have contacted both the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for comment on the incident.
