The roads surrounding a police station in Forest Gate that set on fire last month are to reopen.
Supt Dan Card announced today (April 18) that streets around Forest Gate Police Station will reopen this evening.
He said: “I would like to thank the Forest Gate community for their patience while some of the roads surrounding the police station were closed.
"We understand the frustration from residents and businesses of these roads being shut for a sustained period of time but safety is absolutely our priority.”

The roads have been shut since March 6, when a fire broke out causing destruction to the roof of the station.
Around 175 firefighters were called in to tackle the blaze, the cause of which is yet to be confirmed.
Crews stayed hosing down the roof into the morning of March 7.
The roads will reopen at 6pm this evening.
