Police are seeking witnesses after an e-scooter rider who was found seriously injured in a street has died.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision at Woolwich Manor Way, at the junction with Albatross Close, in Beckton, at 1.50am on May 5.
An E-scooter rider was found in the road with serious injuries and there were no other vehicles around, Scotland Yard said.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, police and later hospital staff, a 27-year-old man, died in hospital on May 14.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
The Met's serious collision Investigation Unit are asking anyone with dash cam footage, or who witnessed the incident, to make contact via 020 8597 4874 or 101 quoting reference CAD 736/05May.
