A man has been charged after an alleged assault and XL Bully attack outside a pub in Forest Gate.
At around 11.41pm on Monday (August 5) the alleged victim is said to have been assaulted by a man and attacked by an XL Bully.
Court documents state that the alleged incident took place in Forest Lane, outside the Forest Tavern pub.
Giuseppe Liprino, 30, from Forest Gate, has now been charged in relation to the incident.
He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm and owning/being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
Liprino appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (August 7).
He was bailed to next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court next Wednesday (September 4).
