Leyton Orient picked up another League One point after a stalemate with Burton on their first-ever visit to the Pirelli Stadium.
Sol Brynn produced a vital save after just two minutes to keep out Josh Walker's header.
But O's were forced into an early change when Jordan Graham went down in pain after seeing a cross blocked, with George Moncur replacing him on 13 minutes.
Ethan Galbraith sent a shot wide when a long throw-in was only half cleared by the hosts on 25 minutes.
And Tom James saw his volley blocked on the line by Walker just moments later.
Idris El Mizouni was next to try his luck, when teed up by Ruel Sotiriou, eight minutes before the break but could not keep his effort on target.
But the Brewers had a sight of goal again on 42 minutes, when a long throw-in was only cleared, and Joe Powell sent a left-footed shot over the crossbar.
Theo Archibald's excellent cross was just beyond Joe Pigott, before Sotiriou got through but saw Max Crocombe smother the ball at his feet.
Brynn was called into action again just before the hour mark to deny Mark Helm's shot from a central position inside the box, but Jordan Brown then took a pass from Archibald and fizzed an effort over the Burton crossbar on 62 minutes.
Moncur shot wide after El Mizouni led a counter-attack for the visitors, then made way for Shaq Forde in the second change of the day for O's.
And Brown had his name taken for a foul on Beryly Lubala with 18 minutes left, before James diverted a strike from Tom Hamer wide of the target.
Galbraith saw a low strike deflected just wide at the other end as the search for a breakthrough continued, before Aaron Drinan and Darren Pratley replaced Pigott and Brown in a double change 11 minutes from time.
And O's had a let-off when Adedeji Oshilaja put a great chance over the bar from close range on 83 minutes.
But Crocombe then produced a flying save to deny Galbraith in the second minute of stoppage time to ensure honours finished even.
